Suffer from any hand pain from drawing/painting? If so,  how do you deal with it? Also do you practice painting or drawing at all with your non dominant hand?

My drawing hand started paining last week and has gradually got worse, even though I have been trying to favoure it and use my left hand more. I went to the doctor today, and was told it was from over use and gave me a wrist brace.
The weird thing is that I had extra work at my job last week and didn't do much painting at all, and also can't think of any that would cause it to be over used.. I really hope it's nothing more serious that's been over looked.
 
I now have several commissions that I really need to get finished and I have been trying to use my left hand but I'm feeling like a toddler who hasn't got then hang of a paint brush yet LOL. It's amusing and a bit scary at the same time...

Sorry I have been terribly inactive lately, been incredibly busy and somewhat stressed out. And all my engergy has been going elsewhere and unfortunately I haven't had much time for dA so if any of my watches are seeing this thanks for sticking with me you don't know how  much your support and kind comments mean to me!

I may not be very active on dA any more but I have been very active in my creativity, and reached a new level of consistency that I have never had before! I'm no longer waiting around for my muses whispers, I'm doing the work even when I don't feel like it! It's actually kind of awesome how much I have grown in the last year!

Hello my dears!
I do dabble in writing but I am no wordsmith like my AMAZING sister (though she won't admit it! lol) 
So please go check out her journal for my contest, as it is quite funny! she really caught the urgency, I should hire her to do all my promotions I think... :giggles: and while you are there give her some love and leave her a some nice comments, life's getting her a bit down atm
